Epsom salts can be used to draw out infections in the foot. Dilute in preferably warm water and stand your horse’s foot in it for up to 20 minutes. Can also be used as a muscle relaxant in a human bath! Can also be used as a feed supplement to replace salts lost through exertion, however, we would prefer to recommend modern horse supplements that are formulatedespecially for this purpose.
