The Loose Ring Gag is a loose ring with two small rings for the gag cheeks. Itencourages the horse to keep its head up. The pressure points are on the topof the head, just behind the ears and the corners of the mouth. The cheekpiececan be used with one or two reins. This cheekpiece is most commonly usedwith two reins, one attached to the large ring and the other to the ring of thegag cheek. This way, the rider can better control the gag effect. Please note: The normal bridle cheekpiece is replaced by the gag cheek.
