The profile of the beris KONNEX bar is slimmer, it positions itself very comfortably in the horse’s mouth, offers a greater amount of space, in addition the arch widens considerably with the beris KONNEX bar. Suitable for horses with a small amount of space in the mouth, e.g. for bloody or older horses (due to a change in the position of the teeth), for horses with a larger tongue and especially for those that react sensitively to punctual pressure from the tongue. The tandem is to be used with a rein. It causes pressure to be released on the nasal bone, the lower jaw branches and the nape of the neck. By increasing the pulling effect, one also achieves a slight pulling-up effect of the bit. Suitable for horses that are too sensitive for a pure bit effect in the mouth but cannot be ridden with a hackamore alone.
