The Hackamore Combi long cheekpiece is a combination of a Hackamore with a bit.This cheekpiece divides the pressure over the mouth and nose. Because of theleverage effect, it gives pressure on the nose and lower jaw as well as in the mouth. Thegreater the leverage effect, bigger the impact. The TRUST Hackamore combinations allhave an adjustable screw above the mouthpiece. The lower the screw, the morepressure on the nose. The curb strap should be properly adjusted (not loose, not tootight but just right), so that the nosepiece is well-fitted and stays in place. The cheekpieceis attached to the rectangular part.

The Slow Twist mouthpiece issingle-jointed with twisted iron onboth sides. Because of the twist,this mouthpiece has a sharperedge and therefore a sharpereffect on the layers than a normalsingle-jointed mouthpiece.This mouthpiece is not suitablefor sensitive horses orinexperienced riders.
