The Hackamore Combi short cheekpiece is a combination of a Hackamore with a bit. TheHackamore Combi distributes the pressure over the mouth and nose. The greater theleverage effect, the bigger the impact. The TRUST Hackamore combinations all have anadjustable screw above the mouthpiece. The lower the screw, the more pressure on thenose. This combination with short shanks has less impact than the long HackamoreCombi. The curb strap should be properly adjusted (not loose, not too tight but just right),so that the nosepiece is well-fitted and stays in place. The cheekpiece is attached to therectangular part.

The Elliptical mouthpiece is thefirst example of a double-jointedmouthpiece with an elliptical shapedlink.
